Presenting….

The most studious students of the University of the Philippines Mindanao!

Angelie, Elton, Joan, Stella, and Beans..

iskolar ng bayan, pag-asa ng bayan!

iskolar ng bayan, pag-asa ng bayan!

We believe that knowledge, above all, is an important possession every individual must have. This will bring us to places we dream to go, to jobs we hope to land, and to the things called etcetera.

OOPS!

More than anything else, we believe that all work and no play makes the rubians dull geeks. So we better take a break before our heads explode due to thesis, crisis, the dead, etc.

so take a look again at the picture above and notice the bottle near the yellow convenience store cellophane.

we play!

we play!

We just don’t read books. We use them to play. And sometimes, we have to act in front of the camera to be more convincing. lol.

we laugh!

we laugh!

Books get so boring if we don’t know how to deal with them. (o ha, may deal2 pang nalalaman ang books. haha). We believe that reading and studying should be enjoyed.

agree?

So we always have to live with the expectations of our parents that anytime soon, we will graduate. To the three in the picture (you know who you are), that soon is not on April. In time friends, in time! lol.

p.s.: the photos were taken night before my thesis defense. cool.. haha.

*thanks coh for taking those pics.*

Oh well, a good and smart boy will understand it… of course!

Beans will just smile at it (the lame excuse), will never waste another tear and will just give a toast and drink to it!

When you say you don’t want to see me cry again, that’s all fine! That’s good. You’re showing concern. But when you say that’s enough reason to let go of the 8-month ‘joke time,’ then that’s something. Very fishy! haha.

My previous blog was entitled ‘8months and counting.’ Now i tell you, it’s the FINAL COUNTDOWN.

I tell you, there’s nothing more fatiguing than the eternal hanging on of this useless game. So we better end up this crap. Don’t use your ‘gasgas’ line anymore, ok? it’s super turnoff. lol.

There will never be BITTER days for beans. Only BETTER days. and beans, though his pride weighs pounds, will always be good to you. =)

Beans thanks his friends, REA and GOLD for always having that genuine concern.

REA, thanks for the hug the moment i stepped down the pedicab. thank you for the treat. thank you for the night. thank you for introducing me to your good friends… rang2 and batman. the night was ‘beerful’ and ‘smokeful’ and ‘songful.’

GOLD, thanks for showing you care. you do, right? you will always be my ‘matapang na friend,’ always ready to defend beans. thank you gold!

To the rest of the barkadahang tunay who knew the relatively ‘wonderful’ story of beans and g, i think, we have to drink all night again to forget all the good things i’ve said about us. Beans wants peace of mind, so give him what he deserves, ok?

Beans will continue to love and he will love whenever he feels like loving.

And that’s so soon.

Don’t tell him what he’s supposed to do, ok?

common! what's that tongue for beans? haha

common! what's that tongue for beans? haha

YOU watch out! bang! bang! =)

Since I have always been sharing to you my college friends, I think it’s about time for me to introduce to you my high school buddies. I think they deserve to have their faces in this blogsite since I have been with them for quite a long time. However I wish to post our high school pictures, I can’t for reasons beyond my control, haha.So i’m showing you our faces more than three years after we stepped out from our alma mater, Notre Dame-Siena College of Polomolok.

What’s Your Name’s Hidden Meaning?

–>

You Are Driven and Tireless
You are very hyper. You never slow down, even when it’s killing you.
You’re the type of person who can be a workaholic during the day… and still have the energy to party all night.
Your energy is definitely a magnet for those around you. People are addicted to your vibe.

You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It’s easy to get you excited… which can be a good or bad thing.
You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don’t stick with any one thing for very long.
You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start.

You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people.
You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts.
You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals.

You are very open. You communicate well, and you connect with other people easily.
You are a naturally creative person. Ideas just flow from your mind.
A true chameleon, you are many things at different points in your life. You are very adaptable.

You are friendly, charming, and warm. You get along with almost everyone.
You work hard not to rock the boat. Your easy going attitude brings people together.
At times, you can be a little flaky and irresponsible. But for the important things, you pull it together.

You are a seeker. You often find yourself restless – and you have a lot of questions about life.
You tend to travel often, to fairly random locations. You’re most comfortable when you’re far away from home.
You are quite passionate and easily tempted. Your impulses sometimes get you into trouble.

lately (that means a month or so ago), we have been texting for reasons we have since we’ve been together — that is to cope with the LDR (ngak) and to remind us both about the beans and g ‘call-it-whatever.’

but what do we do with this? We exchange ‘hellos’ and the template ‘kamusta na?’ and after we both say ‘ok ra’ we end up the conversation. This patterned conversation bothers me a lot — in fact even right this moment, I wouldn’t exactly know if we’re both happy or not with what we’re doing. Maybe texting isn’t enough, and yes, it realy isn’t. gusto ka mental telepathy?

and we can’t use reasons like ‘because you’re not here’ or ‘because you’re so busy…’ because those were beyond our control.and i wouldn’t want to continue sending sms with patterned messages. NOT AGAIN!

tomorrow is 17 and it’s been 8 months since we broke rules. (lol. :p)

i hope things get better before the short hand hits 12midnyt. i have proven so many times that you are worth the jerk that i am (familiar? haha), the ‘antukin’ that i am (roundabout issue), the stupid that i am, and the rest-of-the-synonyms-available that I am.

you always say/do corny things when you’re in love, ayt?

hahaha.

happy monthsary! *cheers*

i just submitted my thesis proposal to my four panelists – the power team. haha. take note: that was after my adviser stepped on my ego and pride. but that doesn’t hurt, i deserved it anyway! haha.

well it pays to be called ‘tanga’ and be slapped with my draft on my face by my adviser after her favorite line “sus ginoo kong gagmay.” it was all ok. as in ok. the result? i have submitted the requirement on time. yes, and if office work ends at 5, i passed it before the time…

and if almost all ‘thesisers’ (if i have to coin it.=)) complain that thesis kills a student’s social life, cummon… it doesn’t even changed the way i defined fun before. hahaha. i can still drink and end at 3am, or puff sticks like there’s no tomorrow, or spend quality time with the ‘barkadahang tunay.’ haha.

and oh, that ‘barkadahang tunay’ thing? after my papers were all done for he submission, we resumed the tagay session right away. thanks to my drunk friends (right now ha) joan, rea and ram.

i’m just starting so i don’t know the things that might happen months from now. i know it’ll change… not because my study will take more time, but because no more ‘barkadahang tunay’ will drink with me by that time. i hope i can form a ‘barkadahang peke’ when the sad time comes. hahahaha.
